Anet was established in 1996 when the internet was just starting to gain worldwide acceptance. Since then the company has expanded to offer the full range of services and support to clients in a broad range of industries from tourism to manufacturing. Throughout its history, Anet’s growth has been phenomenal. Company employment has more than tripled to keep pace with a customer base expanding as much as 10 percent each month Anet now offers the online web site design tool SiteWiz (www.sitewiz.co.uk) to its customers since its purchase of the SiteWiz Company in June 2001. 2001 was a record year and the downturn in the fortunes of the "dot com" industry did not stop Anet from almost doubling turnover from 2000. 2002 is now behind us and Anet's growth has not stopped. Offering ADSL connections has naturally lead us to providing Managed Firewall and VPN solutions. Anet's VPN/Firewall/Email servers have been rigorously tested by various companies in the South East of England and are now being offered to companies further afield. What started as a Strategic Alliance at the beginning of the year has turned out to be another company buyout for Anet. We took control of the Search Engine and Directory AskRover in the third quarter of 2002. (www.askrover.com) Dividend payments suffered by the investment in AskRover, however we are extremely confident that the dividend payment in the first quarter of 2003 will be the largest to date. Our Next Annual General Meeting of shareholders is March 20th 2003.
