Advanced
Serial Interface converter (BTR) Rapid program transfer without Paper Tape
Limitations. Programs can be transferred directly from a
computer system at rapid speeds of up to 19200 Baud. The
advanced SIA is maintanance free and simple to install.
The substantial BTR memory (1 Mbyte) enables large
programs to be held or "drip fed" as determined
by the controller, greatly increasing operating speed.
Comprehensive facilities include code conversion, file
handling and management, automatic file recognition and
many other features. The LCD display allows the user to
see the configuration, operational mode status and data
transfer. |
Specifications
| RS232c Serial Port A | Programmable baud rates between 150 and 19200 Baud. Programmable word frame and parity. Handshaking:- None,Xon-Xoff,RTS/CTS. Drip feed operation allowing unlimited program file transfer. |
RS232c Serial Port B |
Diagnostics and special Purpose port |
| Tape Reader emulation output port | All input/output support +5V TTL and 12V signal levels and active high/low polarity. Fully programmable timings on all reader emulations events. Eight data output lines. Busy Output. Sprocket Output. Drive input, level or edge triggered. Minimum edge pulse period of lus. Reverse drive input, initiates reverse data output. Preset reverse input, if set true and drive input applied then reverse data mode is selected. Fast Forward. Fast Reverse. |
Facit 4070 Parallel Port |
Tape punch input port conforms to Facit 4070 standard. Data is converted from Facit 4070 to serial output port or to floppy disk. |
| Reader Input Port | Allways fallback to tape reader. Fourteen signal directly connected from reader input to emulation output port. When fallback mode is selected, the tape reader functions exactly as prior to the BTR being fitted. |
